We make our Hardwood Flooring Spline (Slip Tongue) out of Poplar, to fit 3/4" thick, solid hardwood flooring that has 1/4" Tongue and Groove (T & G), NOFMA Standard.

 

It's perfect when installing decorative borders like our Feature Strip and intricate patterns like Herringbone and Chevron flooring and especially convenient when changing the tongue direction during hardwood flooring installation.

Peruvian Walnut commonly known as Nogal is a rich chocolate brown colored wood that has become the benchmark for featurestrip. We are careful to use only consistent brown wood, without the 'silver-streak' found in some suppliers material. For truly color graded Peruvian Walnut look no further.

From Africa, and reminiscent of the jungles in which it is found, Wenge is a rich dark brown wood with an animal print grain pattern. Very dramatic and charismatic this is another feature strip that begs to be combined with another for a show piece floor.
